Consider an alternative API testing tool (move off of Thunder Client) #23

Thunder Client is nice:

Postman-like interface integrated into VS Code
easy dropdown system for writing tests (no boilerplate JS)

Thunder Client is also not nice:

license terms make it unclear whether it is even suited for an open source project
limitations of free license are frustrating (especially only 30 collection runs per day)

Possible alternatives:

something like OpenFisca's yaml test format
- (or similar using JSON + RSpec Harness)
hurl
Postman (can you save tests in the project?)
Hoppscotch
Rest Assured (native Java)
DMN TCK (make a front-end editor for it?)
Bruno
EchoApi
Continue to use Thunder Client, but pay up (is this even possible if we have arbitrary contributors?)
