prey not sending sms to any contact !! #44

Hello, when i choose a contact and it ask for "send an msg to contact" i try sending message.. but i get reply "Does your device not support sms service ?" crap ???

how come.. can anyone tell me a fix for this ? i was using master package making bit upgrade to it.. ;)

waiting for some help.

Are you sure that is an issue related with Prey? Where are you sending the message from? We need more detailed information.

yes i have downloaded the prey master source code.. and compiled it and created apk of it making a bit small changes ..

and i don't disturb the sms configs etc..

but now when i select a contact and make a test sms, it says:

are you sure your device has SMS feature ? or something..

in total it don't send SMS... ! Can anyone tell me how to sort this issue out ?

also, when i send App activation sms to the device and deactivation sms to the number on which device is installed it don't work either..

Hi, it was holiday yesterday, hence I couldn't send anything to the team in charge of android development. But, can you explain what kinds of changes did you do to the code? That's strange. Also, if you could tell us what kind of Android device you have, that would be very, very helpful. Provide us as much information as you can, hence we can sort it out. Regards!

i have android 4.1 HTC One S.

i made some changes as gfx.. some texts.. and sms activation code / deactivation code from "GO PREY" to "TRACK ON" and similar.

not much changes i did.. Even i was trying to make a change like; the annoying part of the app when it always ask for password even when device is not switch off.. every time we open app it ask password.. but i was unable to fix that out ..

anyways sms part is not working.. can you get it on work ?

Yes, but first... does it work with the untouched Prey version? There are many reasons on why Prey asks for a password. ;)

yes untouched version works (the one downloaded from play store note rested compiling source code).. but why not the source version ??

can you help solving my issue ?
