Gateway/Router targets result in infinite initialization loop #48

Describe the bug When a target is configured as a Gateway/Router and other unknown conditions, the initialization process is continually deferred and never completes.

To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Create a Network Target and configure as Gateway/Router
  2. Other unknown conditions.
  3. Restart the plugin child-bridge or homebridge
  4. See error

Expected behavior When the plugin is unable to identify the gateway, the target should simply fail just like an invalid URL/URI
