simplified access to TCIA data from sample notebooks #15

Hi there, I help manage The Cancer Imaging Archive and noticed that your sample notebooks are using one of our datasets. Rather than sending people off to figure out how to download the data on their own I'm wondering if you'd be willing to updated them to use the steps outlined in https://github.com/kirbyju/TCIA_Notebooks/blob/main/TCIA_Linux_Data_Retriever_App.ipynb or https://github.com/kirbyju/TCIA_Notebooks/blob/main/TCIA_REST_API_Downloads.ipynb to download the data directly via your notebooks.

Also, if I wanted to promote your project and its use of TCIA data on social media, are there any twitter handles you'd like me to tag?

Hi Justin, it is a very good point, thank you! I think I was not aware of this TCIA functionality when these examples were created :-) Since at the moment the repo is under revision for the dedicated paper publication, I created a new branch with the suggested way of data download. I will merge the branches as soon as it will be possible, and it will go to the next release.

And yes, we will appreciate if you communicate about it on social media! The twitter handles could be @lavrovaliz, @SergeyPrimakov, @ZohaibSalahuddin2, @PhilippeLambin, @The_D_Lab.
