Alas, there are no musical symbols in the icon set...

The settings icon almost looks like a mixing desk... which almost works... but a musical keyboard, modular synth patchbay or a more standard musical symbol is fine too.... but a modular synth patchbay or even a TB-303 or vinyl record with an octacat label would be very fitting too... ? Circuit-board for patch bay, settings icon for mixer... almost there...

Something to be aware of, from CONTRIBUTING.md:

Octicons are a scalable set of icons created by GitHub. At this time, new icons will only be added when they are needed for GitHub products.

Hmmmm... noticed that alright. Just hoping to create a little nudge lest they find a future niche in DSP. Its not that far fetched. Besides, unless they work for Musk, the rocket is overkill. They obviously have a sense of humour!

Thanks for the suggestion, @objectkit! We likely won't be doing this unless there's a specific need for audio-related iconography in GitHub itself.
