Team C4 (Team 7meer):
Khaled Ahmad: I'm confused about whether or not the flash sales are limited to people who are within a certain location that the seller determines. Some of the prototypes show a list of all the sales, but that isn't any different than an app that tells you what stores have sales. I suggest making it more clear that the sales are limited to the surrounding areas.
Belal Aboabdo: I am confused how the map is incorporated in the first prototype. At first glance, the idea behind the prototype is a little confusing. I like the 3rd prototype that lists stores based on coupons/deals and shows their location on the map.
Ameer Muhtaseb: I was confused by whether or not the user can only see discounts and coupons of the places that are nearby them or if they can also search for a specific store/restaurant or type of store/restaurant see the discounts they have and where they are located.
Shreeman Hariharan: I was confused by the second prototype as I was not sure how discounts work specifically. The prototype only shows simple discounts such as $5 off next purchase etc.. However, some stores offer discounts that are based on various terms such as buy an order a minimum of $10 and get something free etc.. How would such terms for specific discounts be known to the user?
Team C2: Kool Kats Tae Hee Kim: I was confused by how the discounts are found. Is there an option to filter through the options and find specific discounts or is it just limited to whatever is nearby you on map screen? What if you're a seller as well. Are you not allowed to see the customer part of the app? What if the seller also wants to use the discount as a customer? Would this mean that they need to have 2 separate accounts to be able to utilize the full app?
Jennifer Phung: I was confused a bit by the Siru A's prototype. I don't exactly understand the flow between screens. I'm also unsure about what would happen if I clicked the 0.1 mile and there is more than one discount. Looking at the prototype it seems like this kind of user interface would only work well if every distance only had one discount. All in all, I'm not sure if the having the numbers on the side will work well and if it is intuitive enough. For Prince Le's prototype, I'm a bit confused about the first screen. Is the user able to see promotions regardless of whether they have signed in as a customer??
Trung Do Tran: Even though I like Siru A idea, I think it would be confusing to user to figure out all of that "long tap" interaction. I was confused by "long presses" versus "short presses". It may be too hard for user to realize that. I was confused by Prince Le's UI because with a small view of map and many different places, it's hard to show what each store is offering. I would prefer Timothy's UI.
