• The idea needs to be fleshed out a bit. Personally, I wouldn't spend too much time on any given app searching for temporary sales – I would prefer some marketplace that lists items for sale until they're sold, that way I don't miss sales for reasons other than the item being sold to someone else (in this case I could miss a sale because I didn't check the app for a couple hours).

• I agree with Reese's point, and would add that there could be some sort of push notification scheme to alert users of nearby flash sales. In order to avoid user frustration, the user should be able to filter such notifications. In terms of more specific functionality to flesh out the core map features, make sure to get the timers on the flash sales working - or at least some sort of dummy prototype to give the feel of a countdown timer.

• I agree with Reese that the use cases should be fleshed out a bit. I think that there is value in a location based marketplace, but that it would be ideal to use in a crunch. I also question whether or not specific locations should be made. Maybe like a general 1 mile radius or something - similar to how AirBnB does homes, that way individuals locations are not being broadcasted. Finally, i would say that from a design perspective you should flesh out the markers on the map a little more so that they are obviously distinguished from just general Google Maps features or points of interest.

TEAM A9: NO NAME

Daniel: You should include contact info in the pop up of the item that is being sold. Maybe even a small thumbnail to show the item. I think the title of the popup should also be just the item itself, as we know we are already in the sell tab and it may save space and make the design of the popup more compact and clean.

Crystal: You should implement a hover to open popup function for the map. With more items on sale, the map might get too cluttered, so hiding the popup until the user hovers or clicks it would be a good way to extend your implementation. You should include a list format for all the items for sale to see all the items for sale at once.

Grant: I think the next step with regards to core map functionality should include some list overlay that summarizes all listed deals at ucsd near you. Maybe you could search nearest, or some categories would be pretty cool as well. I feel like it could be slightly confusing if tens of listings get posted so it might be helpful to provide some list visual to help from an informatics standpoint. Overall I really like the idea you are realizing, It would be cool to search for free things too!

Luis: You should implement a feature that allows the buyer to filter through item types to make it easier to find what you are looking for. I also think in order to help sellers there can be a sort of rating system or a radius range that you are willing to buy/sell.
