I don't have any hardware for this device, but if anyone's interested to take apart their printer here's what is currently useful:

Does sending RTS, CTS, or a BREAK over serial do anything?

The 4-pin connector on the motherboard and the cable are 4-pin Molex Microfit 3.0 connectors https://www.molex.com/content/dam/molex/molex-dot-com/products/automated/en-us/productspecificationpdf/430/43045/PS-43045-001.pdf

The connector on the motherboard is attached to a USB 2.0 hub controller GL852G in a QFN-28 package https://picture.iczhiku.com/resource/eetop/WYIdsOLaQPdHeBNC.pdf

The motherboard connector pins as shown in the diagram are connected as follows:

1 - +3.5V (not sure why this is, since normal USB is typically 5V, it's probably not used as the ACE has it's own power supply) 2 - Ground 3 - GL852G Pin 12 (DM3) aka USB D- 4 - GL852G Pin 13 (DP3) aka USB D+

Oh wow, thanks for finding this. Would you also be able to see what chip the microcontroller is and identify the stepper motors?

I've added notes about the USB to HARDWARE.md.
