Question: Is the development of this library put on hold? #42

First off, I want to say how excited I am about this library. It really has the potential to fill a huge gap for offline-first apps. There’s no solid, turnkey solution out there, and I genuinely thought Prisma would be the one to change that.

I’m using this library in a side project right now, and I’m really impressed. I believe it has so much potential to grow.

That said, I just want to check in with the maintainers (@sorenbs, @ospfranco, @SevInf) to see if there are any plans to actively push this library forward. I’ve noticed quite a few open PRs that haven’t been addressed or merged, and I’d love to know what the roadmap looks like.

This isn’t a complaint, but more of an honest question so I can understand how much I should invest in this library and what kind of expectations I should set.

Thank you

Would also like to know. Would prefer to use Prisma over Drizzle for consitency but Drizzle support for RN/Expo is far more stable at this point.

It's a shame - when they announced this at App.js it seemed like there was a real desire to fill that local-first gap, or at the very least be a solid ORM for native development.

Don't really understand the point if it was going to be abandoned so quickly.

Prisma does a lot of things and supports a lot of platforms, the team might be over-streched at the moment. I don't believe this is abandoned but it's low prio for them since you are not paying them anything to use prisma. There are plenty of other alternatives though.
