Hi, I believe I am experiencing the same issue with very similar output from hostpad. Did you find a solution?
The solution was to just use the standard linux api driver instead of rtl871xdrv.
Thanks for your reply. Do you mean set the driver to nl80211? I was under the impression that the nl80211 driver does not support the RTL8188CUS chipset which is why I need the rtl871xdrv driver. Has this changed?
For my surprise, the most recent driver does indeed implement the nl80211 interface, and it worked indeed!
