Auto-restart timed out sessions when our browser tab regains focus.

Just a nicety to be friendly to the user. It's a progressive enhancement, and it doesn't work everywhere every time, but it works for most cases in semi-modern browsers.

What happens when it doesn't work in some browser? I don't know in which browser it doesn't work, so it is hard for me to try out. If in those browsers it simply doesn't work then and the current timeout state is kept, I think it is okay. Of course we don't want errors to occur.

Yup, it's a progressive enhancement. So if supported, it helps you. Otherwise, you have to click yourself.
