Questions on the CHIPS release schedule and roadmap #64

Dear All,

Could anyone help let me know if this CHIPS feature has been released or it is still under development? I am not able to get this information from the pages below: https://privacysandbox.com/open-web/#the-privacy-sandbox-timeline

In addition, will this become a standard approach that will be supported across all major browsers?

Hi there. We've sent an Intent to Ship the feature in Chrome version M109. That's the target release but note that there could be delays during the process.

CHIPS is currently being discussed with other browser vendors in Privacy CG and lately also in HTTP WG at IETF, which means that it's on a decent track to eventually becoming a standard. Whether others will implement it is hard to predict, but we're working to resolve any concerns that might prevent it.
