✨ Feature Suggestion | Host an exit Tor node #22

Open ian-tedesco opened 4 years ago

Description

It would awesome if Privacy Tools as an entity could start to host an exit node since these are the ones that could bring up more legal troubles for regular individuals and therefore are the most scarce.

@JonahAragon I don't seem to have a permission to transfer this to https://github.com/privacytoolsIO/services/issues.

@JonahAragon I don't seem to have a permission to transfer this to https://github.com/privacytoolsIO/services/issues.

This is not an issue (well, it's a GH issue, but there isn't a problem with any of your services), though, it's a suggestion.

It is a service request issue as per this template: https://github.com/privacytoolsIO/services/blob/master/.github/ISSUE_TEMPLATE/service-request.md

The README also says this issue belongs there: https://github.com/privacytoolsIO/services/blob/master/README.md#privacytools-services

As far as i know, we already run a tor node, im not sure whether it is an exit node though.

Mikaela commented 4 years ago

It's not

ian-tedesco commented 4 years ago

Then I think it would be better if it's an exit node, since you can counter any possible sub poena more easily than I, for example.
