Problem & expected behavior (under 200 words)

As non-sponsor I can not create non-bug issue. Contribution guide says I should not create pull requests without an issue.

Does that mean feature contributions are not welcome from non-sponsors?

Since I have already created the issue, I'll ask about the feature too - support for esbuild --loader:X=L option. I already investigated this and believe it should be very simple feature to add. I am willing to work on that, if you do accept non-sponsor feature contributions and if the option is not non-goal.

If you want to work on a feature, the feature needs to be approved first in the Development repo.

In case you missed it, one of the options is "[Sponsors only] Feature requests / Help / Questions" when you try to file a new issue. The price to gain access is only $2 though.
