Since we have a couple months of user data with this now, the automatic checkouts system (using geofencing client-side) could use a review, namely:

to improve how reliably "checkouts" are detected
the best way to record manual checkouts (but without checkout times)

We should check to see how we can make this better, both client-side and server-side.
