The 350mm requires only 4 turns with optimise tube length of approx 860mm. If there are tangles, there are buffer shields so the filament does not escape the buffer wheel. If internal tangles occur then the filament is twisted along its contour length (torsion) which can cause tangles. This is not an issue of the buffer ring but of twisting of the filament which can be solved with more linear filament feeding path to reduce torsion of the filament.
Thank you. I reduced the tube length to around 600mm so I have only 3 turns. That fixed the tangling issue.
Hi, I'm using the buffer array on a 300^3 mm Voron 2.4 with ERCF. The buffer and ERCF are installed on the top of the printer. With this setup, the tube length is around 900mm which requires at least 4 loops on the wheel. This causes tangles form time to time.
It would be so nice to have a little larger version for the buffer array that can hold a little more filament.
