Understand differences of "new" rectangular bridge #50

There seems to be a "new" rectangular bridge newbridge We should understand the differences and potentially implement them. When I started with ESP8266HueEmulator there was only the round (original) bridge.

Apparently the square-shaped bridge is called "2.0" and supports Apple HomeKit and Siri. Somehow I doubt that Siri is really running on the bridge. Why these features which are most likely software features require a new hardware is beyond me...

I think that entering the HomeKit ecosystem requires the addition of some hardware designed by Apple
