Request for Update: Emacs AppImage to Latest Version (28.2) #20

Dear maintainers and contributors,

I want to express my appreciation for your amazing work on the Emacs.AppImage build. It has proved to be a valuable asset for many Emacs users, and your contribution to the community is commendable.

I'm writing to request an update of the build to the latest Emacs version (28.2). The current version of the build (27.2) has not been updated for some time, and I think it would be beneficial to many users to have access to the latest version of Emacs through the AppImage build.

I understand that maintaining open-source software can be time-consuming and challenging, and I'd like to offer help in any way possible. You may let me know if there's any specific reason for the delay in updating the project, and I'm open to taking on the task of updating the build or lending a hand in any other way.

Hello @sk8dk1, would you volunteer to send a pull request that build Emacs on GitHub Actions instead of Travis?

Great. Looking forward to your pul request. I have not tried to compile Emacs 28.2.
