Thanks for the hint about the AppImage! Unfortunately, it does not check important dependencies like perl, xterm, and ghostscript.

So I take it that those should be bundled in the AppImage because the application is not running correctly when they are not available at runtime.

In my try, even png and jpeg viewing did not work because of different library versions.

Which OS and version? Do you see an error message when running from the command line? How can this be tested/reproduced?

Please retry using the latest release. I hope this is fixed now.
