Thank you for your work on this!

As noted in some of the earlier closed pull requests for this issue, I was hoping to find a solution for this that would not require implementing another dependency. This pull request also seems to be trying to submit changes that have already been merged into the develop branch 🤔 I'm not entirely sure how that might be happening but it's a bit strange here!

Due to these I'm going to close this for now—I'm really sorry that we couldn't get this in, but please feel free to check out some of our other issues!
