New chat seems inconvenient - customer's feedback #4644

I find the small window a bit of a nuisance. Specifically:

the window is very small so I can't easily read the past conversation or my new reply
there seems to be some support for markdown in chat messages but it's not documented
the chat window obscures the Balena console behind it -- a separate browser tab would be much more usable
it's hard to manage the multiple ongoing support threads I have opened with such limited screen real estate

Further request from the user:

As an example of the kind of things other helpdesk tools offer (e.g. Jira, Zendesk), I would now be able to mark this issue as resolved, and have it hidden from the list. As it stands I have to manually read through the whole list of conversations to see what I need to take action on, in a window that is 10% the size of my monitor.
