JF drops/loses message written to paid support customer (email / sales / pm@balena.io thread) #6306

Expected Behavior

A message written by support agents to the customer through Jelly Fish on the following thread gets sent to the customer: https://jel.ly.fish/ca7430c4-a2cd-44e1-a234-7bd64d643231

What seems to be relevant / different from other "ordinary" support threads is that this is an email thread (pm@balena.io) rather than an intercom thread.

Actual Behavior

Some time after the message is written (a number of minutes?), the message is silently dropped / disappears. No trace of it on Front. The thread in Front is: https://app.frontapp.com/open/cnv_9v3t0b1

This was observed / reproduced by @Hades32, @joehounsham and myself.

Steps to Reproduce the Problem

  1. Write a message to the customer on https://jel.ly.fish/ca7430c4-a2cd-44e1-a234-7bd64d643231. What seems to be relevant / different from other "ordinary" support threads is that this is an email thread (pm@balena.io) rather than an intercom thread.
  2. Wait a few minutes.
  3. Note how the message disappears from the support thread. No trace of it in Front.
