Certainly, embedding digital technology such as computers, tablets, and smart TVs with children in early childhood educational programs has improved our practices as educators Using digital technology has following merits:

It is sustainable as it reduces paper usage and hence, environment friendly. It is comparatively safe and secure. We can easily create and store various programs without any hassle. It made various cumbersome (like various learning programs and their outcomes) process easy and fast and henceforth, improved our teaching practices. It improved our creativity as digital revolution improved our access to various other platforms and knowledge. It also improved children’s exposure and understanding of tech world. Right from tender age they see how this digital technology is influencing positively various aspects of life. 2) Certainly, I believe that using digital technology such as computers, tablets, and smart TVs with children in early childhood educational programs has improved our practices as educators, but it has some demerits as well: We need to be mindful that we do not increase screen time for small children at this age as, this can adversely affect their vision and mental development. They should be more connected to nature and society for their proper growth and development. They must develop social skills through mutual interaction and play. 3) It is certainly effective in various ways, but we need to be prudent enough to use it in best possible way to get best results. 4) Yes, we do attend various trainings through team meeting. It saves our time and effort. This clearly demonstrate how beneficial digital technology is for our professional growth and development. 5) I will certainly give 8, as innovative pedagogical techniques can’t fully replace traditional way of teaching. Still, we need to learn various thing like social skills, emotional management, and creativity through mutual interaction and play based learning programs. I'm not super tech savvy, but I've used apps on smart tvs. Things such as drawing/interactive games (although I don't know many apps for them). It's also used for giving news, mindfulness experiences, dance and watching educational videos linking to our curriculum. iPads are also used with children to take photos, research ideas and using utilities such as the stop watch, timer and the sunsmart app. 2. I feel that incorporating digital technology can benefit children's learning if it's used in the right way. We want it to extend children's thinking, knowledge and language in an engaging and interactive way, but not in a way that takes away from children's interaction with each other and their creativity. 3. It can be a great way to extend on topics the children learn about in the room, and expose them to diverse things such as things they may not have experienced, or seen themselves or have access to. So long it captures children's attention and encourages their participation. It's also a great way for parent engagement as parents can send things for news e.g. 4. Not really. There were chances to, but I didn't take the opportunity to. 5. Somewhere around a 7. Showing children educational videos on iPad such as 0-2 animal sounds, Educational games for preschool children. Using smartboard for children to explore more about the technology. 2. yes, in my opinion digital technology should be incorporated in an early childhood setting. This will help children to learn basic skills about digital learning in this modern world. Also, it enchances children’s creativity and knowledge helping them to further get to know the basics of those technologies. 3. It should be wise properly and time management should be incorporated while using the technology then it will be effective…. 4. No, but I have learnt about digital technology in early childhood as a subject 5. 7.5
