repl? #1

Goaldi looks quite interesting -- is there a REPL for it?

I thought there might be, because I heard about "an interpreter", but I'm not seeing a REPL, so perhaps that was more of a virtual machine/byte code interpreter that was mentioned.

Would it be terribly difficult to add a REPL?

Sorry, no, there is not. We’ve talked about it, a little, but the basic problem is that the Goaldi implementation is built around discrete compile / link / execute steps and does not lend itself easily to a REPL approach.
