This needs to be decided upon
We also need to identify ground station location so that we can determine electrical power needs and internet needs
On the Slack, Natalie said Pleasant Farms would be the best launch site near Odessa, Texas. I think this was generally agreed upon as the best launch spot by the whole team.
I looked for schools near Pleasant Farms on google maps but the nearest ones were up in Odessa. What would be the next best setup for a launch location?

Update: Texas Space Grant mentioned to us that the NOAA at Midland Airport launches weather balloons daily. We sent them an email seeing if they could possibly help us by letting us launch there and holding our helium- will update everyone if we get a response.
Amber.Hluchan@noaa.gov (432) 563- 5006 NOAA site by the airport. On 6/22/23 she stated that she would contact her FAA folks and let them know of our intent and ask for permission/what we need to do to file to fly.
Here is NOAA's site- https://www.google.com/maps/search/National+Oceanic+and+Atmospheric+Administraiton,+Midland-Odessa,+TX/@31.9345962,-102.2240607,13.75z?entry=ttu
National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration National Weather Service Midland/Odessa 2500 Challenger Dr. Midland, TX 79706-2606 (432) 563-5006
We are a go to launch from University of Texas, Permian Basis. Same location they are storing our Helium. Address: The University of Texas - Permian Basin 4901 E. University Blvd. Odessa, TX 79762 (Science and Technology Bldg.)
Need to use the flight projections based on weather patterns and identify specific launch site such that we will not be flying over any populated town.
