Rofaida,

Please examine New Relic and look for transactions that are taking a really long time to process. You can skip over the Grading Queue (DeliverablesController#grading_queue_for_course) as we already have students working on this.

Homepage: PagesController: show
Courses: CoursesController: index
People: PeopleController: search and index

are popping up both in the most consuming time as well as the slowest response time...
