Geometry differences between case and PCB #12

Open possibilities opened 2 years ago

possibilities commented 2 years ago

I noticed that the PCB distance between keys from one side to another is slightly different on the PCB and the case. I checked this by measuring the distance between the middle of the upper left key center and the upper right key center.

Case: 221.648mm PCB: 223.980mm

I assume it all works when cut and PCBs are generated because the difference is very small. Is it by design? If not would it be worth taking the time to match them? I think the case geometry is more "correct" and the solution is to move PBC key centers to match?

Happy to go ahead and do the work and submit an MR if it makes sense, let me know.
