sysUpdater finding and not finding the updates folder #49

Open Ricca665 opened 1 year ago

so basically what happens is that it installs some CIAs but then says that he cannot find the folder

It's very likely the file system on your SD card is corrupted. Backup all your data on the SD card, format it according to this and then do a test as described here. When it finishes without errors you can delete all test files, copy your data back and try sysUpdater again.

try to download with Anemone 3ds (A custom theme mananger) from a qr code for the theme, if it says FS (FileSystem) error then buy a new SD Card

Same here, even tried the test too. I did find out that creating a path like this got me a bit further: sdmc:/updates/11.16.0-49U, but I ended up getting stuck on the same error later on. I have a 128gb SD Card if that matters.

If you guys still need this, the latest version of GodMode9 supports installing CIAs. Download the CIAs via NUS and then transfer them to your SD card. Then go to GM9 and go to the updates directory. Mark all files and install them all.
