Theoretically it should be possible, because it is basically just different unicode characters. Next week I will have more time to give it a try.
Looking at the link, it is not clear to me how the Chinese labels are used. For example I don't understand the meaning of 十五
, 十六
, 十七
for Jan 1, 2, 3.

Although perhaps what you have in mind is the holidays, festivals and coloured days? To construct a calendar with these, you have to create a .csv
file or add additional styling rules. See for example doc/examples/cal-marks.pdf
