LB works randomly on Chrome, Chromium-based browsers and Firefox #70

For me, LB blocks some things instantly, for example some keywords I set up in private windows, but not others, like a website that always shows the little 00:00:00 block in the upleft corner of the screen because I have set the block to be all day, but doesn't block it still nor does anything to it. Sometimes it works after waiting a few hours or so, not clear how many. No matter if I refresh the page, or quit the browser and get back in it, or clearing cache and cookies. I am on the latest version of Brave for macOS 12. Previously I had the issue with Firefox and Chrome if I remember correctly because I had tried some different browsers in the past week or so, hence with the same version of LB.

Please help ! Don't hesitate to ask for more details.

Regards,

If you see "00:00:00" but the page isn't blocked, that's because none of the keywords were found in that page. You can confirm this by opening the source page (Ctrl+U) and searching it (Ctrl+F) for any of the keywords.

If you find that the page isn't being blocked even though you're sure it contains the keyword, then we do have a real issue here. 🙂

Thank you ! Indeed, when I moved out the website I wanted to block to a new Block with no keywords it blocked it instantly. However, I noticed that when I didn't fill up the thing called Enter the time periods within which to block these sites (optional):, the block didn't work so I always put in all day (0000-2400) (don't know if it's supposed to work like that since it's says "optional"). I then changed the 0000-2400 to another time frame (in which my actual hour is contained ) and the block doesn't work again, and I can change it to nothing and then to 0000-2400, it doesn't do anything, and I have only one website in the blocklist without keywords etc. and with the option immediately block when conditions are met activated and settings saved each time.

Update, it was just related to me having unlocked the website previously so it didn't change until I accessed it again in a new tab... I think the issue is can be closed.
