[ ] unification (biblatex has isbn, bibtex not by default)
[ ] allow for articleno numpages...
[ ] maxnames should be “infinite”

I want to add to this that this should not be so. It's imo better to split it up into maxbibnames and maxcitenames. Putting all authors into a text is very unwieldy, but acceptable in the bibliography.

So perhaps maxbibnames=infinite and maxcitenames=2 would be better?

Thank you for your thought. This is intentional.

I would recommend to avoid naming the authors in the text but rather talk about the contribution.
