If we are productizing then it probably makes sense to do some sort of welcome/setup page like Wordpress has. You’d provide a database URL, we’d connect and then we’d give you some defaults and sensible options for initializing the config.
But another way to look at it is that it’s just me, running this thing on my Linode, so what’s it matter??
Nobody wants this but me. No one will care abd BINK wont see multiple deployments. Be real. Closing it.
setting.json is/was a nice idea at one point, but let's just change it so that all of that config is in the database and then you set a DB URL environment variable as your only point of config.
