I tried to fix this with this different commit: https://github.com/progressivetech/net.ourpowerbase.sumfields/commit/bb89a4bdb488b8244339b14a8274466a142050c4

I couldn't get your patch to work with 4.6, so I opted for one that should work in both environments.
