Thank you very much for your contribution and tests/usage.
As far as the export format, there are 3 outputs. You can list then in using - - extract-format option.
You can dump GPMF in:
-
- plain text (whole data are dumped but all isn't interpreted).

- Binary dump. Just extract the track from mp4 file. Then you can parse the stream yourself.

- GPX, only GPS stream is extracted and interpreted then formated inside a GPX file.

I really like the project,
Noticed while running the examples that the extract example creates the binary, but the file format is 2, so the data does not work.
This makes the 2nd example not render anything usefull.
All I did was change a 2 to a 3, hope it helps.
Again, love there is a cli for doing this stuff.
