Could not start ninedof and roboclaw on Ubuntu 14.04 #4

Tried to run ninedof_driver or roboclaw_driver on Ubuntu 14.04.1 LTS. Cannot find serial port or i²c bus.

The same on Gentoo with Linux 3.18.5 and compiled options to use i²c and serial.
