From the IIIF conference, one possible idea can be to incorporate booksnake into the 'how do I see it?'
Its source code will be available at the end of summer on Github. Booksnake info: https://booksnake.app/
Implementing booksnake would allow us to:
Other ideas:
the process for accessing a book is long... I first have to click request from the library, it then brings me to click another link to request the book. I then have to re-type the title (???) of the book before I can make the request. Can we somehow have the link for request this book -> go to the request a book already listed in the library?
Or maybe have two options. "View this record on the yale library website" | https://search.library.yale.edu/catalog/14915857, 'Request physical copy from the library" | https://aeon.library.yale.edu/aeon.dll , 'request digital copy from the library' | https://aeon.library.yale.edu/aeon.dll
this way users can skip the extra step of viewing the record and go ahead and request it.
label change -> How can I Access It? / 'Where can I view it?"
if we change the label to 'where can i view it'? it may be helpful to add a map of the location of the library which it is in. (unsure he feasibility of it, maybe just new haven.)
let me know your thoughts of which options would have a good UI/ or if you have any other thoughts.

Problem Description: The "How do I see it" section on a record page is frustrating to users/staff as it does not allow one to easily see where/how to get ahold of items.
This ticket serves as a research ticket to figure out how to improve this feature.
Expected Behavior/Solution: Some possible solutions are:
Requirements: TBD
Needed for promotion: If an item on the list is not needed, it should be crossed off but not removed.
