As a user, I'd love to be able flag a certain data point (or group of them) as inaccurate. When taking this action, I'd be provided a small form to link an alternate source(s) and add some notes explaining the issue. In some cases it might be obvious (e.g. "the population is WAY off for this year") though in others it might be more nuanced and opinion-based.
