This is my first ever PR and I have no clue what I'm doing. Apologies if I messed something up.

I'm unsure what to write here. The title of the PR explains what is in this PR. If the exact changes need to be enumerated with explanations and pictures, I would be happy to do that.

This is one big commit because I did all of my original developments on a clone instead of a fork. I do have all of that development history and a branch with all of those changes if that's needed.

I also have not tested it on macOS or Linux because I do not have an easy way to test those systems.
