[Feature request]: Renewed visual identity #2243

A renewed visual identity, like new logo, sprites on the UI, etc.

Reason box

The visual of the UI looks a bit dated, new visuals may make the project look renewed and attract more users.

Examples

Emulators like Dolphin (dolphin-emu.org) and PCSX2 (pcsx2.net) have simple, but more modern UI examples.

maybe, but someone else would have to drive it since my focus is getting the emulator more accurate and to get android working again.

I suspect getting a good android version working will get more users than a new logo

What's modern about PCSX2 or Dolphin? In fact I'm not a fan of Dolphin's use of icons wasting space in the main window. I find Project64 more readable and the UI stays out of the way better as a result.
