There seems to be a correlation between a crash of firefly and a crash of mosquito:
on the mosquito side, the ping listener shows errors and CPU reaches 100%. It might be that the ping listener keeps getting restarted making the global system unresponsive.
on the firefly side, we have messages like this:

Not sure which causes the initial issue, but it seems to happen on a regular basis (~2-3 days).
