CMake will soon deprecate support for 2.6 as prompted to the user when using eg. CMake 3.22

I take it that you prefer not to upgrade to a much newer CMake (similar discussion in https://github.com/ARMmbed/mbedtls/pull/3802)

Seems that the ios verifiers need love -> xcode:9.2.0 is no longer cool
