DUKE: actual img thumbs would be cool but challenging / we'd also benefit from a more generic format-specific thumb if the online content type was indexed ("use statement" or dao@role).

Early mockups exist as part of revision of layouts. This is in part tied to a technical feasibility question in #61. We can move this forward assuming there will be some method to get thumbnails.

To do: take a SUL item where we know what to do to obtain the thumbnail for an object identified by PURL.
