Collections in exhibit missing from collections facet #1619

Exhibit creator Amy Hodge explains her experiencing articulately (I have verified this):

Hi all,

The collections facet on my exhibit home page at https://exhibits.stanford.edu/data is missing several of the collections I added. I added 33 collections, but only 21 of them are showing up here.

This is the list of collections that are not showing up, followed by the number of items each contains:

A novel computational method of metabolic network analysis for genetic discovery 1 A tide prediction and tide height control system for laboratory mesocosms 1 Data for Cole and Denny 2014 1 Drosophila Antennal Lobe Synapses 7 Lobell Laboratory 1 Luo Lab Dorsal Raphe Tracing Images 1 Serial section electron microscopy data for "Nanoscale organization of the MEC-4 DEG/ENaC sensory mechanotransduction channel in Caenorhabditis elegans touch receptor neurons" 2 Serial section electron microscopy data for "Posttranslational acetylation of alpha tubulin constrains protofilament number in native microtubules" 8 Stanford Center for Reservoir Forecasting (SCRF) 1 Stanford Education Data Archive (SEDA) 1 Temperature variation effects on intertidal communities 1 Towards in vivo estimation of reaction kinetics using high-throughput metabolomics data: a maximum likelihood approach 1

Some of these (Lobell Laboratory, Luo Lab Dorsal Raphe Tracing Images, and Stanford Education Data Archive (SEDA)) I know used to show up, but later disappeared when more collections were added.

This fact does not have the "More..." link at the bottom of it. I'm wondering if that's part of the problem, since many of these have only 1 item and would therefore be at the end of the list. It doesn't explain all of the issue, but might be contributing.

Note that I have turned off this feature for now because of these issues, but would really like to be able to use it.

Note from Amy Hodge: Note that I had been deleting collection druids from the new items box every time i added a new collection. This morning I added back in all the DRUIDs and re-indexed everything. This has resolved the issues with the collection facet. I have QCed this and verified that all the collections that are showing up in this facet are indeed there and that they are all displaying the correct number of items.
