Contains #89
Host ns containers are not managed by Calico, but the kubelet will still use the plugin. This ensures that Calico does not fail setup/status calls.
Improve api access in get_pod_config

@alexhersh: A couple more comments regarding better log messages, but otherwise looks good.

Once those are fixed up I'll give a LGTM.
