hamster-applet has dead upstream, please clarify which fork is the needed dependency #11

hamster-applet is retired in Fedora since 2 years, propably due to upstream was forked to death.

hamster-time-tracker seems to be the new hope. Please document what source is needed to build hamster-applet or implement support for the new hamster-time-tracker.

As this project is now part of projecthamster, I wonder why it has not already been communicated??

Between hamster-applet and hamster-time-tracker, the required D-Bus protocol has remained unchanged. Since the xfce4-hamster-plugin only uses the D-Bus protocol, it is compatible to both.

Ubuntu 14.04 still ships hamster-applet, compiles & works.
Fedora Heisenbug ships hamster-time-tracker, compiles & works.

Please close this issue if the answer was satisfactory.
