"No recorded tasks for today." makes more sense than an empty table:

I'm using the Greybird theme under Xubuntu 14.04, what is yours?

Also Greybird theme under Xubuntu 14.04. The size is due to adding a lot of (long) categories, and deleting them.

Switching themes crashes hamster ;)

Crash fixed, hidden tree view on no activities, summary label shows in all cases.
