I also used the scan system apps feature and a ton of them were identified as malware. I suspect there is some truth to that becausen I clearly do have malware embedded in my OS. I can literally see the attacker's Linux devices signed into my Google account. Not to mention the rapid battery drain and slow charge...
So, rooting device could prove more harmful than good at this point, right?
The 'Scan System Apps' feature is very buggy. That is why we don't recommend enabling it. It is included for experimental purposes only. Also, you can't uninstall a system app unless you use a rooted device. So we see no harm in that. If you use a rooted device, you are supposed to know what you are doing.
