How to build? #11

How would one go about building a .ips or just extracting, modifying, and replacing this into a .nds file for the game?

It's not for releasing purposes or anything, but I would like to help out with finding typos and maybe correcting some grammar issues (in the English translation; I don't know Japanese) and I think the eaiest way for me to do that would be to just play the game rather than browsing through huge text files.

I am pretty noobish when it comes to NDS ROM hacking, so please forgive me if this is something that is commonly doable with a tool that is pretty commonplace amongst hackers.

i have the same problem, i tried inputing various patch codes into git bash but all failed for some reason. unless there is a program/tool to do this? it would be so much easier.
