Generic Question about origins of `EXM104-8.2.000` FQM files #47

Hello. First off, I just want to thank you guys for building out these tools. I'm trying to understand how an eCQM becomes an FQM like in the demo bundle you have hosted from a previous connectathon. Are those publicly provided?

When I login to cypress to check, all the eCQMs are titled like: CMS131v10 Measure Test

Hello!

The fqm-execution-demo tool hosted on github pages simply pulls the FHIR measures bundles from the, now out of date, connectathon repository at https://github.com/DBCG/connectathon/tree/master/fhir401/bundles/measure.

Keep in mind that Cypress only supports QDM eCQMs, these packages are always available on the eCQI Resource center. FHIR eCQMs are structured a bit differently and are early drafts intended to test standards and tooling that is still being developed.

Best, Chris

In terms of origins, the prefix "EXM" is used instead of "CMS" to emphasize that these FHIR measures are not officially published by CMS. In most/all cases, the EXM measure is intended to be a FHIR measure based on the corresponding CMS (QDM) measure. As noted, the DBCG/connectathon repo is a bit old now. Some newer versions are at cqframework The HL7 connectathon Clinical Reasoning track has a multiple-tab spreadsheet to help sort it out. In some cases, QDM measures were partially converted too FHIR using MAT. In other cases the FHIR measure was converted manually, with the help of the QDM-to-QI-Core mapping in the QI-Core IG Version 4.1.1 or the CI build version
