I like this, but would prefer indentation for packages too:

app-text/tesseract
    tom@...
    bob@....

The distance between the package line and the next line should be smaller than the gap before.

I'm sorry, I haven't noticed this PR earlier. To be honest, I agree with @jonasstein here. On your screenshot, the new style looks kinda blurry. AFAIR the right-align is purely accidental but it at least avoid cramping too much text far from the checkboxes.
